Will the Humble Handshake Change Post-Pandemic?

I am delighted to have been interviewed on NewsTalkFM about the future of the handshake post pandemic. This is part of NewsTalk’s Reimagining Ireland series.
The Reimagining Ireland series examines some of the changes we may see across a range of areas in a post pandemic Ireland. One habit that may change is the humble handshake. It's an act many hold dear but is it now a thing of the past? Or will we be back doing it in no time? Experts differ. Some say the handshake will be replaced by alternatives as we put hygiene first. Others say the handshake is simply too ingrained, and too good for us, to disappear just yet. The handshake has been part of our lives for thousands of years, we expect it will survive the COVID pandemic, and we’ll be shaking hands with each other again very soon …

A key step along the way to a circular economy is to segregate our waste properly, so that it can be reused, recycled or disposed of correctly. The recently launched ' Take a minute, before you bin it! ' campaign highlights how small changes in behaviour can make a big difference to our recycling rate and bring us closer to a circular economy.
