I was delighted to be interviewed by Diarmuid Pepper on Northern Sound's The Bottom Line last Wednesday about how we are reacting to the rising cost of living. The latest issue of our Reflecting Ireland research reveals 62% of people feel they will have to cut back on food spending over the coming year in response to cost of living concerns, and 53% worry they will be unable to pay higher energy bills. Attitudes to our personal financial circumstances and to the economy are deteriorating. The rising cost of living is now the dominant issue for 81% of consumers - up from 62% just three months ago.
