Today the first issue of a new research series, Reflecting Ireland, was launched by Permanent TSB in partnership with Kantar.   I was delighted to be part of the team that worked on this project, and to chat to Gavin McLoughlin on Newstalk Breakfast about it.   This first issue focuses on savings behaviour and how the pandemic has impacted savings habits and spending intentions in Ireland.  There is little doubt that a prevailing sense of uncertainty is affecting our savings behaviour: more of us are saving than before, and most of us plan to continue doing so.  This research outlines not only how our behaviour is changing, but what factors lie behind these changes.
