The latest issue of Permanent TSB’s Reflecting Ireland series shows that people in Ireland are increasingly choosing to make wellbeing a priority. Six out of ten put quality of life, including mental wellbeing and physical health, first.
Looking after our psychological wellbeing
There are three basic psychological needs that are fundamental to our wellbeing: a sense of control over our lives, connection with others and feeling capable in what we do (1). A key step along the way to a circular economy is to segregate our waste properly, so that it can be reused, recycled or disposed of correctly. The recently launched ' Take a minute, before you bin it! ' campaign highlights how small changes in behaviour can make a big difference to our recycling rate and bring us closer to a circular economy.
